Bu projeme, ne yaparsak yapalım bebeğimizi bırakacak yer bulamadığımız için sergi katılımcısı olduğu halde sergiye gelemeyen eşimi konu ettim.
Toplumumda kadın olmanın erkek olmaktan daha zahmetli olması, ne yaparsam yapayım bunu dengeleyememem, kendi ailemin içinde de bu olumsuz durumun oluşması, projemin merkezine yerleşti. Kaçınılmaz "erkek" özgürlüğünün bende yarattığı vicdani sıkıntı farkındalığımı arttırdı. Devamının geleceğini düşündüğüm bu serinin başlangıcında, eşim kucağında kızımızla özellikle Türkiye'den çok göç alan Rotterdam'daki diğer tüm Türk kadınların yaşadığı gibi camların arkasından sokağa baktılar. Neredeyse geçilen her sokakta bir dükkan veya evin camına dışarıyı seyredermişçesine yerleştiler.

I have chosen to make my wıfe the subject of my current project.Even though she in artıst in her own right and a participant in Kuf-Mold-Rotterdam, she is not able to attend in person because we have been unable to find a way of having our two children taken care of while both of us travel.The fact that it ıs much more difficult to be a woman than a man in the socıety i live in and that i have been unable to change things in my own family no matter how hard i try became central to my project. The guilt feelings caused by the inescapable independence of "males" made me more sensitive to the subject. I see this project for Rotterdam as the beginning of a series of projects. This part will consist of placing about 25 life size photographs of my wife with our daughter into windows above the participating stores.
